Homestay Host Families

Homestay guests stay in a private room and live as a valued member of the family enjoying two meals daily with them -- a continental breakfast and dinner in the evening. Homestay hosts may be a mother & father together with or without children, or a single mother or single father. The Homestay experience is meant to allow the visitor to partake in the American way of life. This includes food, family activities, culture and personal relationships.  Guests are always treated as a valued member of the family.

The student's privacy and culture is always respected and they can be as involved with the family activities or not, as they wish. Homestay are all located approximately 45 minutes from Manhattan by public transportation.

Hosts will always assist the Homestay and B&B guests with information on traveling, transportation (discount fares, maps, events, etc.) and visiting places of interest.

Bed and Breakfasts

Bed and Breakfast guests enjoy a continental breakfast daily. Linens and towels are always supplied for both accommodations. Laundry facilities are usually available on premise for all guests. 

YMCAs

Placements are made at posted YMCA rates depending upon NYC location and availability. The stays at YMCA Manhattan are limited to 28 days by YMCA.
